This shirt jacket features a soft, rustic cotton texture and a rich, dark indigo hue that immediately draws the eye.
It is not a factory-made item, but rather appears to be individually handmade by someone highly skilled in dressmaking.

The design is inspired by band-collar shirts often seen from the Taisho to early Showa period. Simple in shape, yet functional, it includes patch pockets on both sides near the hem — giving it the versatility of a light jacket. (Please note that the thickness is shirt-weight.)

One charming detail is the hand-stitched “L” size label at the neckline, adding a touch of personality.

Made from breathable cotton, the piece offers a cool and smooth feel against the skin.
The dark, almost blackish indigo dye gives the garment a distinctive mood, and it will continue to age beautifully over time.
