This is a rare vintage Japanese cotton fabric from the Taisho era, once used as a furoshiki. Vintage furoshiki and traditional Japanese fabrics have become precious, but this particular one is extremely rare. Unlike typical fabrics, this is the rare "black" cotton, similar to noragi.

The fabric has aged beautifully with a nice fade and an improved texture. The Chinese characters in the corner add a great accent, making this item even more unique. Its wonderful atmosphere makes it perfect as an art fabric or interior piece.

For a personal touch, it can also be used like a stall. This is a collector's item rarer than boro and sashiko, and as these items decrease year by year, this is an opportunity not to miss.
