Due to the growing appreciation of Japanese vintage, this happi kimono is highly popular among overseas buyers.
Only the collar is indigo dyed, creating a striking contrast with the body. The kanji characters on the collar also add a refined and stylish touch.
It features one inner pocket and one side pocket, offering added practicality. (Please note that the hand openings in the side pocket are narrow.)
It seems to have been worn very little, and it retains a crisp, glue-like texture typical of older garments. It will likely soften beautifully with time.
