This is a cotton Noragi jacket made in Japan during the early to mid Showa period.

The fabric features a striking striped pattern combining deep charcoal gray and red tones, creating a powerful and distinctive look typical of Japanese vintage textiles. The red stripes subtly stand out against the darker base, giving the garment a bold yet balanced appearance.

The collar is made from indigo-dyed cotton, which creates a beautiful contrast with the striped body fabric and enhances the overall character of the piece.

The garment was hand-stitched, reflecting traditional Japanese construction methods of the time. Years of use have softened the fabric, giving it a rich texture and the unique patina that only vintage textiles can develop.
