This Tonbi Mantle, popular in Japan during the late Taisho to early Showa period (1920s), is a Japanese adaptation of the Scottish Inverness coat. At the time, only wealthy gentlemen could afford to wear it, draping it over traditional Japanese clothing to create a sophisticated, high-class appearance.

The sleeveless cape design and vest-like front allow you to slide your arms through and access pockets easily, combining style with practicality.

Made from high-quality black wool, the coat retains original high-end details such as the collar hook and stitching. The removable collar features real otter fur, adding an extra touch of luxury.
