This Noragi jacket was made in the Aizu region between the Taisho and early Showa periods.

Aizu cotton has long been used as everyday clothing, supporting people’s lives in both farm work and household tasks.

The unique texture and character of Aizu cotton fabric are remarkable, and the depth of its expression becomes more apparent with wear.

Before the era of mass-produced ready-to-wear clothing, garments were individually tailored at home.

This Noragi also reflects the period’s philosophy of "using cloth to the very end," and the unique expressions and texture developed through daily use and the passage of time look fresh even in contemporary fashion.

For modern styling, it can be casually layered over a T-shirt or denim.

Additionally, it can be enjoyed as material for upcycling or handcrafts, offering a quiet yet profound fabric expression.
