BLUE BLUE is the denim line from Hollywood Ranch Market — the Tokyo label that treated indigo as a serious material long before the international selvedge revival made it fashionable to do so. These jeans have been worn. The oni-hige fades — the coarse, speckled whisker patterns that develop from actual use — are the kind that cannot be engineered into new denim. They take years, and they belong to whoever wore them first. Now they're available to whoever wears them next.
Japanese designer denim from this era occupies a specific position in the global vintage market: not yet fully mainstream, not widely available outside Japan, and produced by labels that cared about the material as much as the garment. That combination is becoming harder to find.

Damage near the hems; part of the stitching on the hip pockets is missing. The loose arch stitching on the back pockets is original design. Overall fading is beautifully done, giving the jeans strong vintage character.
Washed twice in-house. Retains a characteristic vintage odor. Please refrain from purchasing if you are not familiar with vintage items. Returns or exchanges due to damage, fading, or odor after washing or wearing cannot be accepted.
