This is a cotton furoshiki from the mid-Showa period. It features a two-tone design with a calm green solid color and a simple striped pattern. Originally used in Japan as a furoshiki (wrapping cloth), this fabric has recently gained recognition overseas as Japanese vintage fabric, increasingly sought after for remakes, sewing projects, and textile art.
