This is a men’s haori jacket tailored during the late Showa period in Japan.
It was originally worn as an outer layer over kimono, reflecting everyday Japanese clothing of its time.

The fabric features a blue-based mixed coloration, creating depth and nuance not found in solid colors. It carries a calm, understated presence that evokes the era in which it was made.

With its characteristically simple haori design, this piece prioritizes practicality over decoration. The unadorned construction highlights its utilitarian origins.

Suitable for traditional wear, it can also be styled over modern clothing and worn casually like a jacket, allowing it to blend naturally into contemporary wardrobes.
