This indigo-dyed kasuri (ikat) fabric was woven in Japan during the mid-Showa era.
As it has never been used, the threads remain firm and the indigo color retains its vivid depth, preserving its original condition beautifully.
The rich indigo tones and nostalgic kasuri patterns carry the quiet memory of traditional Japanese life.
It can be used as material for remake projects, or simply appreciated as part of an interior display or collection.
One of the special charms of this fabric is how it will naturally age over time.
