This is a vintage Japanese Noragi work jacket made around the mid Showa period.

Originally worn as practical workwear by farmers in Japan, Noragi garments are valued today for their history, craftsmanship, and unique textiles. The cotton fabric has developed a rich patina over time, reflecting decades of use and aging.

It can be worn as a light jacket, or appreciated as a piece of Japan Vintage textile. It is also suitable as material for handmade projects, remaking, or stage costumes.

Please note that the item will be compressed for shipping, which may cause wrinkles.

This is a vintage item, and signs of age are present.

Fading and stains can be seen.
The color of the lining has transferred slightly to the outer fabric.
Stitching under the arm area has become slightly loose.

The garment has been washed twice by us, but a distinct vintage textile scent may remain.
