This is a camouflage jacket of the JGSDF 2nd Type, officially issued to Ground Self-Defense Force members starting in 1992 (uncertain whether this piece is official issue or PX-sold).

As it has already been gradually replaced by the newer 3rd Type, authentic examples of the 2nd Type are becoming increasingly rare.

The design features Japan’s forest camouflage pattern, with functional details such as a small sleeve pocket on the left arm, chest pockets, waist adjustment tabs, back action pleats, and ventilation eyelets, offering both mobility and practical wearability.
