This Noragi Jacket, believed to have been made in the early to mid-Showa period, is a classic example of Japanese workwear.

Noragi jackets were worn by farmers in rural Japan, crafted from durable cotton and designed for everyday labor and daily life. While practical in origin, the unique texture and expression of the fabric developed over decades, making these garments highly valued as vintage pieces today.

Recently, traditional Japanese workwear has gained attention overseas, and the term “NORAGI” has become widely recognized in the global vintage and fashion scene.

The front features a striking indigo stripe pattern with a deep, aged color and natural variations that highlight the jacket’s rustic charm.
The subtle gradations of the stripes reflect the simplicity and strength inherent in traditional workwear.
