This noragi jacket was made from striped cotton fabric during the early to mid-Showa period. The front features fine stripes, while the back is made of plain cotton. Although not designed as reversible, wearing it with the plain side visible also blends naturally with modern outfits.

In rural Japan at the time, it was common to make garments by piecing together available fabric without waste. This noragi follows that tradition, and the fabric still retains a firm structure. Over time, it will soften and mold to your body, allowing you to enjoy its aging process.

Recently, noragi and vintage Japanese fabrics have been increasingly appreciated overseas as "Japan Vintage." They are often incorporated into outerwear and layered styles.
