This is a rare vintage Japanese noragi jacket from the early to mid-Showa period (circa 1926–1950s).
Noragi are traditional work garments worn for farming and daily outdoor tasks in Japan.

This jacket was lovingly handmade in an ordinary household, reflecting the wisdom and resourcefulness of everyday people.
It is crafted from durable cotton with a distinctive smoky indigo tone that gives it a deep, characterful look.

The boro (patchworked or well-worn fabric) details add unique texture and charm—highly appreciated today by vintage lovers and collectors worldwide.
