This coverall was produced in the early 1970s by the agricultural machinery manufacturer Comma as a promotional item. Comma, based in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, sold rice harvesters and the Comma Harvester combine nationwide.
The back features a large printed slogan: “For Delicious Rice, Comma Harvester”, preserving the authentic atmosphere of the era.
The fabric is a 50/50 blend of vinylon and cotton, combining vinylon’s high durability and abrasion resistance with cotton’s soft touch and breathability. It provides the strength needed for workwear while remaining comfortable to wear.
This item is unused deadstock, making it extremely rare as a 1970s promotional coverall. Coveralls featuring company names from this era are rarely found on the market, making this piece especially valuable to collectors and vintage workwear enthusiasts.
