This set includes four pieces of vintage Japanese cotton fabric scraps from the mid-Showa period, one of which appears to be blended weave. Each piece carries a unique character and history.
The set features an indigo kasuri piece, a simple striped cotton, a soft checked cotton, and a blended striped fabric. These fabrics were once part of everyday Japanese life and now come together as a versatile collection.
The cotton has softened over the decades, offering a depth and warmth that new fabric cannot replicate. Handling these pieces evokes a sense of nostalgia and a connection to the past.
