This vintage Japanese furoshiki is a rare, unused deadstock item from the late Showa era (circa 1970s–80s)—a piece that has become increasingly difficult to find today.

Made from soft, lightweight cotton, it features a deep burgundy base adorned with refined white botanical motifs inspired by traditional Japanese family crests (kamon).

Originally created for wrapping objects, its timeless design now lends itself beautifully to use as a table cover, wall hanging, or fashion accessory.

It also makes a distinctive choice for sewing or crafting projects.

A unique blend of function, beauty, and history—this is a true one-of-a-kind textile.
