This furoshiki was made in Japan in the late 1970s to 1980s and never used. It went directly from production into storage, where it stayed until now. The gradient runs from deep blue to white; the floral print sits in cool blue tones against it. Nylon, lightweight, and designed for daily use — wrapping, carrying, covering — though it works equally well as a wall hanging or textile object.

Deadstock Japanese furoshiki from this period are genuinely uncommon. Most were used. This one wasn't. The original fold lines are still in the fabric.
