This is a quietly aged piece of Japanese vintage fabric, once used as the outer cover of a traditional futon and later carefully unstitched. In an ordinary household, a used cover could be taken apart and returned to the family as material rather than discarded. The cloth now carries both its original purpose and the possibility of whatever comes next.

Measuring approximately 165 × 173 cm, it offers generous size and the beautiful texture unique to well-worn cotton. The plaid pattern is simple yet refined, with a calm and understated presence. Years of washing and use have softened the fibres in a way modern fabric cannot replicate.

This piece has been washed twice by our shop. Please note that it retains a characteristic vintage scent. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to damage, odour, or any changes after further washing or use. Purchase only if you understand and accept these conditions.
