This is a work kimono (nagagi) made of cotton, tailored around the early to mid Showa period.
Reinforcements with patches are applied to areas prone to wear, such as the shoulders, showcasing a practical design intended for on-site work use.

Such workwear is known overseas as "Noragi," and recently its simple beauty and the unique character of the material have been highly appreciated.

Because it is cotton, the texture naturally becomes softer and fits the body better the more it is worn.

It is also very popular as a material for remake projects, recommended for reconstructing into shirts, coats, small items, bags, or interior fabrics.
