This vintage kimono was made in the mid-Showa era and is crafted from soft cotton.

The outer layer features a calm and refined kasuri (Japanese ikat) pattern, while the lining is decorated with a bold and playful crazy pattern, giving it a strong visual presence—almost like a reversible design.

Although it retains a traditional appearance at first glance, the unexpected and contemporary feel of the lining gives it the unique charm of a wearable art piece.

The item has been washed twice by our shop, but as with all vintage textiles, it retains a characteristic old-fabric scent.
